John Kelly

John Kelly is Market Area Vice President - Midwest for WM Recycle America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Waste Management, Inc.

Mr. Kelly is responsible for the operational activities of 24 recycling facilities in the US and Canada, more than 800 personnel, more than $150 million in annual revenue, and more than 1.2 millions tons sold.

Before accepting his current responsibilities, Mr. Kelly was Director of Operations for the Waste Management New Jersey Market Area where he had overall P & L responsibility for fourteen hauling companies.

Mr. Kelly joined Waste Management in 1993 with Wheelabrator Technologies in New York City. From there he spent 10 years in the Chicago land area as District Manager for 2 Blue Bag recycling plants, and three years as District Manager for the Illinois West Hauling operations. He also spent one year in a management development role at the corporate office, in Houston, TX assisting Market Areas with EBIT growth and productivity opportunities under President and COO Larry O'Donnell.

Mr. Kelly holds a BA from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY.
